Toyosaki Chura Sun beach
It is located in the southwestern part of Okinawa and it is the largest artificial beach on the island. Naha International Airport is only fifteen minutes away, so vacationers can watch the planes flying directly above their heads. You can get to the beach by route bus or by car, turning off the freeway onto the road leading to Senaga Island. Beach description
The beach is an improvised island in the form of a giant fishtail, divided into two equal parts by a concrete breakwater. Snow-white sand, emerald green grass, and bright turquoise sea create an idyllic picture as if descended from the pages of tourist travel booklets.
The coastline is quite long (700 meters) and is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Visitors can use a free parking area, toilets, showers, changing rooms and lockers for storing things. There are special pavilions with tables and benches in the seaside park where you can sit in a small company and have a picnic. And the popular Resort Cafe KAI is right in the center of the beach with a huge outdoor terrace with eighty seats.
The southern part of the beach is designed for active games, it organized football, volleyball and basketball courts, there is a children's town with slides and trampolines. Here you can enjoy water sports and water skiing and jet skiing.
The northern part is suitable for comfortable swimming and calm beach relaxation. Thanks to the protective breakwater, the sea in the lagoon is quiet and calm, buoys indicate places for safe swimming. The bottom is flat, smooth and sandy. Special nets are installed from the side of the open ocean that prevents the penetration of poisonous jellyfish and other dangerous marine inhabitants.
The beach guests can rent umbrellas, sun loungers and sports equipment. There is the opportunity to take a glass-bottom boat trip and enjoy the marine fauna outside the protective fence.
