Anping beach
Sandy beach, which is located almost in the urban area of Tainan. Get to the place of rest by bicycle, taxi or bus. The beach is more popular in the evening, at sunset, when beautiful romantic photo shoots are held here or the locals quietly see off the outgoing day in search of peace and tranquility.

In the afternoon, Anping Beach seems to be divided into several zones: it is a quiet and secluded bathing place, but not during the typhoon season when it is prohibited. The central part of the beach is sometimes heavily polluted, which is why it is allocated for windsurfing, skimboarding and other water activities.
There are practically no shady areas, and during the hot season the rays of the scorching sun bake quite strongly, so you should take an umbrella with you to sunbathe on the beach. Nevertheless, for tanning or such an extreme pastime, such as surfing, tourists and locals choose neighboring beaches. Therefore, the infrastructure of Anping Beach is not sufficiently developed, and most vacationers choose it only for walking or cycling.
When is the best time to go?
The period from the end of September to April-May is the most favorable for a trip to Taiwan, since the weather in these months is not too hot to relax on the beach. October is considered the most comfortable month regarding the weather. Spring begins with the rainy season, in summer, intense heat keeps in these latitudes.
