Chishingtan beach
The beach is located on the east coast of Taiwan, a great place for walking and practicing spiritual practices, which are so popular in Asia. Swimming in the sea near the coast can be unsafe, since the beach is more covered with pebbles than sand, and the underwater current in some places is quite strong.

Walking around the territory is better in special shoes, otherwise you can hurt yourself on stones. But this does not mean that such an atmospheric place to stay is ignored by tourists. There is always one of the vacationers here, because the picturesque panoramas that open around will not leave anyone indifferent. Mountain ranges and sea air with a salty taste are ideal for cycling, you can also walk along the coast to the local attraction – the lighthouse.
However, the lack of prospects for swimming procedures does not mean that you can not sunbathe on the beach. The beach area deserves the attention of tourists, but not so close as to stay in the area overnight. Here you can have a bite to eat at local retail stores, relax and move on, traveling through Taiwan, since the airport is very close.
When is the best time to go?
The period from the end of September to April-May is the most favorable for a trip to Taiwan, since the weather in these months is not too hot to relax on the beach. October is considered the most comfortable month regarding the weather. Spring begins with the rainy season, in summer, intense heat keeps in these latitudes.
