Beach description
The coastline and the sea bottom are covered in grainy white sand. The beach is 1 km long. The water is clean, warm and transparent. It's quite shallow here, with depth rising gradually - perfect conditions for young children. No waves or wind are present here.
You can rent umbrellas and sunbeds in a rental store for an additional cost. A long promenade with numerous restaurants with terraces, cafes and bars stretches alongside the coast. The high season lasts from the middle of July to August. This period sees the most number of tourists and locals. La Fossa is especially popular among Spanish and German visitors. It's a calm beach for comfortable family vacations. The majority of visitors can be encountered after noon.
The infrastructure is very well-developed. The beach is clean and well-kept. There's a lot of fish in the sea, which attracts a lot of divers. No hotels are present here, instead visitors are offered various apartments with pools and spacious private territories.
Supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, playgrounds and rental stores with water equipment are all located near the beach. La Fossa's main feature is the availability of equipment for people with disabilities. There are special showers, changing rooms, armchairs, crutches and tents with wooden floor.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
