Los Locos beach
Los Locos is the main city beach of an elongated shape in Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. The coastline is 760 m long and 27 m wide. In the east, Los Locos beach borders a rocky cape, in the west - with Cala del Palagre bay.

Beach description
The beach is popular among Spaniards and travelers from Europe. In the tourist season, it is crowded and noisy. The beach is rocky on the coast, in the center covered with fine sand of a light gray hue with small pebbles. Entry into the water is hampered by rocky rocks at the bottom. The water is clean and transparent.
The infrastructure is well developed - there are ballot boxes on the beach, a shower column for the feet, a toilet, and the descent into the water is equipped with an ergonomic wooden flooring. For children, playgrounds and sports grounds are equipped. Tourists bring umbrellas and chairs with them - they rent the same equipment on the beach or buy at local stores. There are restaurants and cafes with terraces on the sandy area. Near the beach for tourists there are many comfortable apartments, houses that can be booked in advance or already upon arrival. Get from the city to the beach by public bus, car, taxi or on foot.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
