Poniente beach
Poniente is a beach for a relaxing family vacation with children. A more comfortable atmosphere reigns in the western part of the beach, by the rocky secluded hill of Kala. The eastern part is crowded and lively.

Beach description
The length of the beach is 3.1 km, width is 100 m. Lowering the bottom is smooth, to a depth you need to go more than 10 meters. The water is clean and warm. On the Costa Blanca in the Benidorm area, this is the longest sandy beach. Every day the territory is cleaned by utility services, sand is sifted with a special machine. Poniente was awarded the Blue Flag award - it is environmentally friendly and safe here.
The beach has all the necessary infrastructure for a traveler:

- first-aid posts,
- sports,
- playgrounds,
- football and volleyball fields,
- cafes,
- restaurants.
For people with disabilities, ergonomic wood flooring is installed. You can hide from the scorching sun in the shade of a few palm trees or umbrellas, which, along with sun loungers, are rented at a rental point on the beach.
Lovers of outdoor activities can try their hand at wellness exercises or the Petanque game. Along the coast a beautiful promenade with palm trees, cafes, souvenir shops stretches. There also are hotels and apartments that provide rooms of different levels of comfort. Near there is walking boulevard, the shady park of Elche, a fountain, children's areas. There is also a historical landmark of the area - the Old Town.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
