La Musclera beach
La Musclera is located next to the Caldes d'Estrac resort, half an hour from Barcelona. This beach, the holder of the Blue Flag quality certificate, attracts tourists not only for its cleanliness and safety, but also for its friendly atmosphere.

Beach description
Part of the sandy coast of La Musclera (approximately 1,500 square meters) is a conservation area. Connoisseurs of rare flora can find here such unique plants as sea mustard, seaside wormwood, and coastal knotweed. Here they pay attention to people with limited mobility (special paths are laid for them) and nudists who are allocated 200 meters on the right side of the recreation area.
The beach stretches for a length of 700 m, sometimes reaching a width of 80 m. It is covered with golden sand of medium and fine granularity, surrounded by rocky ledges and sometimes decorated with a scattering of boulders. The light surf creates favorable conditions for safe swimming and surfing in the coastal lagoon.
Basic beach infrastructure includes parking, bathrooms with showers, hammock and parasol rental points, lifeguard and security posts, beach bars. The nearest hotel is a 20-minute walk from the sea.
When is it better to go
The beach season on the coast of Spain falls on the period from May to October. The water and air temperature reaches the most comfortable levels, thereby guaranteeing tourists a perfect vacation.
