Aljibe de la Cueva beach

In the northwest of Fuerteventura, less than three and a half kilometers from the fishing village is the beach of Aljibe de la Cueva. This beach is fairly well hidden and secluded. Its main audience is youth, a beach that is hardly visited. The length of Aljibe de la Cueva is 400 m, the sand on the beach is fine, gold-colored, and water shimmers with all shades of turquoise. Access is sloping and partially rocky, the beach is framed by low cliffs and several dunes. The beach is quite a popular place among wind and kitesurfers who come here to teach the basics of beginners and conduct master classes for "advanced" surfers, however, they have to take equipment with them, because there is no board rental service on the beach, but lifeguards are on duty. To get to the beach of Aljibe de la Cueva, you can walk for 20-30 minutes or from El Cotillo by bus to the nearest bus stop on the road from gravel.
