Corralejo beach
Corralejo is the largest resort in Fuerteventura. Almost all the beaches of Corralejo within the city of the same name are quite crowded, but for lovers of privacy it’s enough to go beyond its borders, to where the ten-kilometer coast begins, there is a secluded area with untouched nature.

The beaches of Corralejo are covered with fine white sand, and along the coast there are wide bays and calm lagoons. Everyone will find here rest to taste. So, the beaches within the city limits are the most numerous and popular among families with children, and away from the city most of Corralejo is nudist, and there are no warning signs about this, because nudism is officially allowed. However, in the summer season is the rest time of most tourists with children, vacationing nudists can be found much less often. In general, August is rightfully recognized as the best time to relax on Corralejo - this month the water in the sea is the warmest. You can get to the beach from the airport by taxi or bus, having traveled only 30 km to the north. The beach itself is located on the northeastern coast of the island, with stunning views of the island of Lobos and the dunes of El Jable. The territory on which the picturesque dunes are located is declared a natural park.
Corralejo beaches are rightfully recognized as one of the cleanest and most beautiful on the island, white sand and turquoise water of Corralejo very often flash on photographs of glamorous magazines, as well as in television advertisements.
When is it better to go
The beaches of Fuerteventura are suitable for relaxing all year round, but the ocean temperature does not rise above + 21 °C even in the warmest months. Winds constantly blow on the island, which makes the climate milder and more comfortable than in Africa, which is 100 km away.

Infrastructure
Construction is prohibited in the conservation area, so only two hotels built earlier than 1982 rise here. This is Riu Oliva Beach Resort и Riu Palas Tres Islas. You can also settle in the city of Corralejo or come to the beach by car from any hotel you like on the island. The beaches of Corralejo have a well-developed infrastructure: here you can rent tents, sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as relax in the many beach cafes. Most restaurants offer local Spanish cuisine, but many establishments in Corralejo also serve dishes from around the world.
In general, the beaches of Corralejo are an amazing combination: suitable for both active and relaxing holidays. Wild beaches will attract naturists, urban beaches - families with children, and the presence of a strong wind will appeal to wind and kitesurfers. In addition, in the immediate vicinity of the beach there are many interesting things:
- protected area with beautiful landscapes, which is the habitat of many exotic birds, reptiles and insects;
- the city of the same name Corralejo, who traveled from a small fishing village to one of the main settlements of Fuerteventura. The resort is very popular among the British and Irish, and the most favorite leisure activities in Corralejo are shopping and night clubs.
