The secluded Chaplin Bay Beach stretches between Bermuda counties Warwick and Southampton. This cozy and quiet place offers all the conditions for a relaxing break while meditating in the lap of nature or reading an interesting book. The beach was named after the British navigator Eduard Chaplin, who arrived on the island in 1635.

Beach description

The beach almost disappears during the tides. Chaplin Bay is surrounded by cliffs, and a barrier coral reef serves as a dividing line between its two parts. The water here is sometimes hectic, but it is not particularly dangerous for those who swim near the shore.

There are no amenities apart from toilets at Chaplin Bay beach. Therefore, many tourists, wanting to shop, have to go to Warwick Long Bay. On Canada Day, which is celebrated on July 01, there is a lot of excitement on the beach. The holiday is provided with various entertainment programs.

You can reach the beach by bus, which runs between Hamilton City and Dockyard. the bus trip can take 20 to 40 minutes. On the opposite side of the stop, there will be a narrow path that leads to the beach.
