Beach description
Church Bay is highly regarded by snorkeling enthusiasts, and there are other water sports activities to do here as well. The bay is full of quiet nooks and rocky crevices. Some reefs are only 50 meters away from the shoreline. The local attraction is the "Poodle Stone", which looks like the shape of this dog.
The water by the beach is usually calm, but in adverse weather, it can be worrying. Locals do not recommend snorkeling during the south or southwest wind. Under normal weather conditions, reefs monitor the calm of the water surface. But they also block the breeze flows, which can lead to intense heating of the beach in the summer.
It must be remembered that the depth of the bottom here grows rapidly. When entering the water, be prepared to steps on the stones. They are not sharp, but slippery, so it is best to walk along the beachline in special shoes. At the top of the beach hill, you can find a toilet, picnic tables, and good parking.
