Jobson’s Cove beach

Jobsons Cove is a beautiful and secluded beach surrounded by cliffs and completely separated from the sea. It is located in Warwick County, on the south coast. The beach is named after William Jobson, who first settled on these lands in the 17th century.

Beach description

This secluded place is popular with both locals and travelers, especially families with children. The scenic bay with pink sand, gentle waves and crystal clear calm water give a feeling of peaceful refuge. Huge cliffs of limestones and hardened volcanic lava prevent the penetration of the breeze. Therefore, the air on Jobson’s Cove remains almost motionless. The water depth is very shallow, which allows you to engage in swimming and snorkeling. From marine life, you can more often see Scaridae.

Swimmers need to be careful here. External water flows, however, penetrate the beach, so inexperienced drivers need to be vigilant. Churning of water can thrown onto rocks.

The main areas of Jobson’s Cove beach are connected with sandy path with other bays of the southern coast. It's easy to get to the beach. You should first take a bus to Warwick Long Bay and then walk west along the path for about 200 m.
