The sand on the entire Broadbeach shoreline has a pleasant honey colour and the water is crystal clear. The beach is surrounded by beautiful parks with weekend markets and yoga centres.
Safety is closely monitored by specialists from 8 lifeguard clubs and observers on 16 towers. Such security measures do not seem to be excessive, as the waves here can be dangerous. Swimming on Broadbeach Beach is recommended only in protected areas.
The beach offers an expanse for surfers that you can enjoy anywhere on the beach. Beginner fans of this extreme entertainment can take lessons in groups of up to 6 people. There is also a Jupiter's Casino and Pacific Fair Shopping Center on the beach. You can take the bus to Broadbeach.
When is it better to go
The busiest swimming season in Australia lasts from December to February. In this summer, for the southern latitudes, the mainland heats up to 25-30 °C, in places up to 40 °C. In winter (June to August) the air is cooled down to 11 °C. May and September are considered the best beach months with a cloudless sky and not too active sun.
