Palm Beach
The famous Palm Beach is located near the Gold Coast Highway. The beach environment is not too picturesque - close to the coastline, houses are approaching, among which there are high-rises.

Beach description
The beach sand has a nice light hue. The waves here are one and a half meters high on average. In general, swimming on Palm Beach is not a safe activity because of the deep tidal channels with strong water flows. The beach is perfect for surfers.
Palm Beach has been awarded as the cleanest beach in Queensland three times. Holidaymakers will have a great time here. Couples can take their kids to Laguna Park, which has fun activities such as pirate ship models, children's slides and a monorail railroad. Besides, it's very easy to get here. Palm Beach is just 10 minutes from Coolangatta Airport and a quarter hour from Surfers Paradise Beach.
When is it better to go
The busiest swimming season in Australia lasts from December to February. In this summer, for the southern latitudes, the mainland heats up to 25-30 °C, in places up to 40 °C. In winter (June to August) the air is cooled down to 11 °C. May and September are considered the best beach months with a cloudless sky and not too active sun.
