Which is not surprising: few other places can also be highly attuned to thoughts of a perfect vacation. Tortola Island, the largest of the British Virgin Islands, for tourists not interested in the business is primarily known for its beaches: and almost all experts and locals agree that Cane Garden is the best of them.

Beach description
The bay is quite small, and the beach stretches in a thin strip almost along the entire shore. It is covered with fine bright sand: both on the surface and underwater - do not be afraid of hurting your legs against the bottom. Besides, the descent is smooth and gentle enough. Water in the Caribbean Sea is very warm: its temperature is rarely falls below 25 degrees. You will also be surprised by clear and blue color of the water.
If away from the coast is a paradise for surfers, especially during the hurricane season, then closer to the coast there are practically no big waves, and you can safety swim with your children. Coral reefs are located in the depth of the bay: they'd better be explored with a boat or motor boat. There is a pier in the center of the beach, where you can moor or just dive. The bay is close to the road near a small village, therefore, it is convenient to reach it from almost all parts of the island. It is separated from the beach by a green zone, so there is no need to worry about noisy and dust.
If you prefer privacy or you don't want to choose a place to stay for a long time, it is better to arrive in the morning: Cane Garden is a popular place for all ages, both for tourists and locals who come out after lunch or in the afternoon. But be careful: Take a blanket for sand, because renting sun loungers and umbrellas are not available all year round in contrast with other beach amenities: toilets, showers and changing cabins.

Since the islands have a tropical climate, the air temperature during the year is practically unchanged and rarely drops below 24 degrees. The same temperature level is noted when determining the water temperature. The wettest and most comfortable months to stay – are from September to November, but the hurricane season also falls on the same period. Therefore, the best time to relax – is the beginning of December or May and the end of April.

Pay attention to the local attraction: a small factory Callwood for the production of rum. It is the oldest on the island, and they still use the original technology for the production of several types of this pirate drink at once. They will show you the thickets of sugarcane used in production, and huge containers for infusion, and directly the storage.
