Grand Case beach
Gran Caz Beach is located on the west coast of Saint-Martin. It is a wide curvature of a 1.6 km long coastline with sand cover and calm water. From the coast there are excellent views of the neighboring island of Anguilla and Creole rock, around the reef of which there are several excellent dive sites.

Guests are accommodated by small hotels. Parasols and sunbeds are provided on the beach, and you can also rent a motor boat. The main street of the Grand Case resort is full of bars, bistros, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. Thrifty travelers will appreciate the cheap beach eateries serving lobster, chicken, ribs and grilled fish.
A wider range of aromas and tastes of fine French cuisine is available to wealthier tourists. In general, excellent gastronomy is one of the Grand Case visiting cards. No wonder this settlement was awarded the unofficial title of “the capital of the Caribbean gourmets.”
If you arrive on the island in the middle of summer, you can witness the traditional celebration of Bastille Day (on the French side of Saint-Martin July 14 is a sacred date). Local residents take out their wooden sailing boats in this day to participate in the annual racing competition.
When is the best time to go
The island of Saint-Martin is characterized by warm and dry weather all year round. July and August are considered the hottest months (average air temperature reaches + 32 °C). You can have a vacation in this Caribbean canton all year round, however, the high season falls on the period from December to April.
