Orient Bay beach
Orient Bay is located on the South-Eastern outskirts of Saint Martin and resembles the French Riviera with many atmospheric restaurants, cozy bars and parties with fashion shows. There is a school of kite-surfing on the beach. Parasailing, jet-skiing and bodyboarding are also available there.

Beach description
Windy Orient is a paradise for kitesurfers and windsurfers. Naturists, who have chosen the south wing of the recreation area, and photographers, who are attracted to the hilly landscape of the coast and the uninhabited island of Tintamarre in the ocean, are also not indifferent to it. Fans of sunbathing appreciate the soft white sand of the beach, and divers enjoy the diversity of the underwater world. That is why Orient Bay is part of the marine reserve.
Beach bars offer fast food, drinks and sun lounger rentals, while restaurants offer French, Creole and Asian cuisine. There are no toilets on the beach. They can be found in the nearest camping sites or hotel.
One of the local attractions is the butterfly farm, located in the botanical garden with a waterfall and ornamental lakes. A tour of Mount Vernon Plantation Historical Park is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the production of sugar, rum and spices. The port town Oyster Pond is 4 km from the beach. It provides lot of entertainment for tourists.
When is it better to go
The island of Saint-Martin is characterized by warm and dry weather all year round. July and August are considered the hottest months (average air temperature reaches + 32 °C). You can have a vacation in this Caribbean canton all year round, however, the high season falls on the period from December to April.
