Great Bay beach

Great Bay Beach is the center of fun and outdoor activities on the island. This beach is suitable for those who dream about outdoor activities and have nothing against crowds of tourists. The bay can be reached without problems along the Little Bay Road. Taxis and buses run throughout the area.

The long strip of the Great Bay coastline is in excellent condition, the entrance to the sea is gentle. It is impossible to walk along the beach without noticing a long boardwalk. Recently, it has been intensively turning into a tourist center for shopping and entertainment. It is here where is a bar serving freshly prepared lobsters.

On the beach itself, right on the water, there is a fish restaurant, which should be visited by real gourmets. In addition, the beach infrastructure includes toilets, as well as chairs and parasols. The clear blue waters of Great Bay Beach are good for swimming. From here you can also see the arrival and departure of cruise ships.

When is the best time to go

The island of Saint-Martin is characterized by warm and dry weather all year round. July and August are considered the hottest months (average air temperature reaches + 32 °C). You can have a vacation in this Caribbean canton all year round, however, the high season falls on the period from December to April.
