Beach description
The main advantage of Simpson Bay beach is its charming tranquility. It faces South, so it is protected from strong winds. Simpson Bay is ideal for romantic walks along the shore, sunbathing and sea baths, as well as water sports. A big plus of the recreation area is the convenient location, allowing easy and quick access to local cafes, bars, casinos and hotels. A taxi from Juliana airport will take tourists directly to the Simpson Bay beach car park in a few minutes.
On the horizon in the sea you can see the silhouettes of the nearest Islands, one of which Saba, like a large volcanic mountain coming out of the sea. There is a snack bar serving refreshing drinks, snacks and sun loungers for rent at the end of the beach. Along the busy main street of Simpson Bay visitors will find a string of restaurants and bars for every taste.
