Aze Prince beach
The beach is located in the northeast of Tokunoshima Island. Tourists get here by taxi from the airport. Besides the ocean and the sandy beach there are also a parking lot and a camping site here. Toilets, showers, a kitchen and other conveniences are located near the camping site.

The camping site on the picturesque lawn of this natural park is very popular among tourists who come to the island more and more often each year. But as vacations tend to be quite messy, a small fee may be necessary to pay to prevent polluting this beautiful beach.
Due to its volcanic origins, the beach is partly covered in stones, but the sea bottom is mostly sandy and safe for swimming. If you come during Summer, don't forget to visit the local show for visitors - bull fights that are very popular among tourists.
When is the best time to go?
If in the north of Japan, in Hokkaido, the weather in January-February is quite wintery, in the southern islands the temperature rarely drops below 20 degrees even in the cold season. In summer, the rainy season comes in Japan, when the humidity becomes almost one hundred percent, and the thermometer is at 30 to 40 degrees. Therefore, the best time to travel to Japan – is late spring or early autumn.
