Sakibaru beach

Sakibaru Beach is located in the north of the island where buses don't drive, but you can get here by rented car or taxi. You'll need to walk a narrow pathway from the nearby highway to the beach and the amazing turquoise ocean. There are no conveniences on the beach besides a small parking lot so it's never too crowded.

Beach description

Sakibaru Beach is also hidden among forests and mountains, so many tourists just don't notice this place among the neighboring beaches and bays. It's perfect for enjoying the idyllic calmness and quietness and admiring the world around, as well as sunbathing on an empty shore. It's heaven for those who prefer solitude far from the urban jungles and other people.

What is the best time to go?

If in the north of Japan, in Hokkaido, the weather in January-February is quite wintery, in the southern islands the temperature rarely drops below 20 degrees even in the cold season. In summer, the rainy season comes in Japan, when the humidity becomes almost one hundred percent, and the thermometer is at 30 to 40 degrees.   Therefore, the best time to travel to Japan – is late spring or early autumn.
