Socoa beach
Socoa is a tiny beach which is covered with soft and golden sand. On this beach, there is an emergency station, diving school, and small food court. Nearby, there are 5 restaurants, a grocery store, about a dozen hotels, a large parking, a navigation school and a yacht club.

Socoa has the following features - it:
- is situated on the peninsula of the city of Ciboure;
- is situated in a small bay defending it from high waves and wind;
- surrounded by tourist marinas near which private yachts, fishing boats and touristic liners are moored;
- depth increase is smooth along the whole beach line;
- nereby, there is a stone fortress built in XVII century for the naval defence from the British.

The beach is located 20 km away from the city of Birazz. You can get here by bus, train, sea transport, taxi, or car.
Useful information: There is The Basque Corniche viewpoint 2 km west of the beach. It offers the best view of the Atlantic coast of France.
