Gribovo beach
Gribovo is a sandy beach located in the eastern part of Nafpaktos. On its territory there are sports fields, a game pond, free parking. The beach is covered with soft sand, which is pleasant to walk barefoot. Pebbles are found on the seashore. Here it’s completely calm, full calm sometimes gives way to a breeze.

The following infrastructure facilities are installed in Gribovo:

- clean toilets;
- sunscreen umbrellas.
The beach has received the Blue Flag award, which is given for apple-pie order and safe conditions for recreation.
In the vicinity of Gribovo, there are over a dozen hotels, two Greek taverns, a French pastry shop, a pizzeria and a cafe. Nafpaktos itself has supermarkets, shopping malls, ATMs, museums and other blessings of civilization.
Many families with children come to Gribovo, as there are many plots of land with a gradual increase in depth, and large waves and underwater currents never bother the holidaymakers. Gribovo is also popular among young people, gastronomic tourists, fans of comfort and passive recreation. It's often visited by residents of Eastern Europe and the Balkan Peninsula.
The following sightseeings are located near the beach:
- a Venetian fortress built in the 15th century;
- Byzantine towers built to protect against the Turks;
- an ancient mosque erected during the Ottoman rule.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
