Megalo Livadi beach
Located on the southwest coast of Serifos, Megalo Livadi beach is situated eleven kilometers from Chora, the island's capital. Nearby lies a village sharing the same name, which, until the mid-1960s, served as the center of Serifos's mining industry. Along the shore, visitors can observe abandoned industrial buildings, rusty trolleys, and rails that once led to the mines. This unique open-air museum draws additional tourists to the area, ensuring that Megalo Livadi is always lively and bustling with activity.
