Beach description
Another beach attraction is the 25-meter-high cliff of Pizzomunno. The monolith stands at the entrance to the beach and is an unofficial symbol of the city. A beach covering of 3 kilometers long consists of golden sand and is characterized by a soft descent into the water. The sandy and shallow bottom has a safe rest with children. For boat trips, guests are provided with inflatable boats, boats and yachts.
Enrico Mattei's long promenade is a great place for hiking and jogging. It has many access points to the beach and secure parking. The entire coast is equipped with first-class hotel and recreational amenities: bars, discos, restaurants, pizzerias, hotels and a playground.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
