Torre Guaceto beach
The beach of Torre Guaceto is located in the municipality of Carovigno. The sand here is of the highest quality – white, sometimes golden, fine-grained. The coastline, surrounded by dunes and occasionally decorated with dark cliffs, smoothly passes into the seabed. The natural treasures of the reserve are centuries-old olives, green turtles, rare amphibians and birds.

Thanks to special facilities, people with disabilities can also enjoy the beautiful nature of Torre Guaceto. Cycling, scuba diving or yachting will allow you to explore the reserve. In the sailing center you will be taught how to ride a catamaran, windsurfing and skating. History buffs will be interested in seeing the symbol of the beach – the Aragonese watchtower, built in the 16th century to protect against Saracen robbers.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
