San Vincenzo beach

San Vincenzo is a fairly young resort town where tourists flock from all over the world. It is located on the Ligurian coast of Tuscany. Beach description

The sea is shallow on the shore, you'll need to go deeper into the sea for a quite a while to reach the deeper parts of it.

You will find 2 main beaches here. Baratti Beach is considered to be the most chic in the Etruscan Riviera. It is located in the bay, which resembles a crescent in its shape. It is well maintained, equipped, there are many lawn chairs and spots with umbrellas. Spots, toilets and showers are paid. Here you can visit a cafe or restaurant. If you wish, you can find a wild place that does not have any amenities, but is still clean and pleasant for a relax.

The second beach of Ramigliano is completely wild. It occupies about 10 kilometers. Here you won't find cafes, lawn chairs, umbrellas and other amenities. But soft sand dunes will give you pleasure, also, there is a minimum number of vacationers. It is advisable to bring a towel or comfortable bedding and take care of your comfort yourself for a complete relaxation. You can get to this beach through the checkpoint located along the SP 23 highway.

How to get here

Anyone can get to San Vincenzo from Grosseto, Pisa, Genoa and Rome. You can take a train or get by sea. A more convenient option, however, is to rent a car and set off along the SS1 highway, which comes from Milan, Rome, and Genoa.

Here you can order a taxi in the parking lot or in a cafe. It will take you 5-10 EUR to travel around the city. Bicycles and bikes are available for rent, and you can rent them directly at the hotel. There are many equipped parking spaces in the city itself.

There are horse clubs, treadmills, bike tracks and even football grounds for sports enthusiasts. Here you can engage in sailing, diving and other activities on the water.

Tourists stroll along the promenade of San Vincenzo, enjoy the views of the sea, cliffs, and islands in the evenings. They go to restaurants, enjoy Italian music in bars. San Vincenzo is a truly family-friendly holiday destination. Parents with small children come here, whom they can fearlessly let go splashing around in a shallow sea. The city has a gorgeous park with lots of entertainment - trampolines, playgrounds, carousels and attractions.

The city has many attractions. Particular attention is drawn to the church of San Vincenzo Ferrer, created several centuries ago, as well as the famous tower museum, some parts of which have survived from the 14th century.

Culture-lovers will not miss the Archaeological Park, which is located between Baratti Beach and Cape Piombino. On the vast territory, you can walk, contemplating the monuments of Etruscan culture. These are the mounds of San Cherbone, and the cave burials of Grotte, and the ruins of the acropolis. There are also old workshops here, where metal was processed even before our era. In the park, you can visit the Archaeological Museum, which contains the most interesting memos.

Natural memo is the park "Rimigliano", which is located near the beach of the same name. There you can walk and ride a bike while enjoying the tropical nature.
