"Barkhatnye Sezony" Beach is located in the southern part of Sochi, between the Olympic Park and the border with Abkhazia. Its length exceeds half a kilometer, and its width reaches 60 meters. This place has the following features:
- crystal clear and very warm water;
- gentle entrance to the sea - to reach the depth you need to swim 5-10 meters;
- beautiful sea views and on tourist yachts;
- absence of breakwaters dividing the beach into several zones;

“Barkhatnye Sezony” beach is covered with large pebbles, where is difficult to walk barefoot. Tourists are advised to wear safety slippers or move along wooden paths connecting all the most important sections of the beach. The beach is very popular among wealthy Russians. From late May until early September it remains crowded. Its best places are taken at 8 o’clock in the morning.
