Bugazskaya Spit beach

Fans of kite and surfboards find ideal conditions for their favorite activity on Bugaz Spit. The Spit is stretched between Bugaz liman and the Black Sea for as much as 12 km. The beginning is in the South, near Anapa, and ends in the Veselovka village, closer to the North.

Beach description

The natural coating of the Spit is fine quartz sand mixed with pebbles and shells, so the Spit is a multi-kilometer beach, where there is enough space for everyone. In the beginning, there are more of an accomplishment. There are boarding houses, cafes and parties from the village. You can buy lemonade only in one place (one of the schools of kiting) in Veselovka village.

There are about 10 kite schools, where experienced instructors work. Beginners, who can test their strength in the liman, are welcomed here. Experienced athletes catch a wave from the sea. This place has the perfect onshore winds for fans of trendy sport for almost half a year in the Bugaz Bay. There is shallow water and space for extreme sports and professionals in the open sea.

The water in the liman blooms closer to autumn. Recently the entrance became paid. Now entry for cars on the Spit is prohibited. Tourists with children or loving windserf will have to take this into account.

When is the best to go?

On the Black Sea coast, unlike the Crimean steppes, a sub-Mediterranean climate reigns. The temperature of the Black Sea in the summer is stable 23-27 ° С. However, the air temperature may vary slightly depending on the period: if you are uncomfortable in the heat, then choose May or September to relax. 20 degrees is a standard indicator. The warmest and driest time is July and the first half of August: will be a little hotter, but the sea will be warmer.
