Taurito Beach is located in the southwestern part of Gran Canaria on the territory of a small town of the same name. The quiet coast is hidden in a cozy bay between Puerto Mogan and Puerto Rico.

Beach description
Taurito is a young small beach. Its length is only 150 meters. Despite its modest size, there is always enough space for tourists. The beach is created artificially. It is covered with gray volcanic sand, stones are visible in some places. Protruding cliffs do not always save the coastal zone from waves and strong ocean currents. You can get to a quiet place by bus from various parts of the island. Near the beach there is a paid underground parking, taxi rank.
For tourists around the clock shops, cafes and bars. In the heart of the resort hosts a water park. Many water sports are available from entertainment - scuba diving, boat trips, fishing. The beach at night is empty and boring, so it's better to go to Puerto Rico for fun.
When is it better to go
In Gran Canaria, warm winters and hot summers reign, however, the weather on the island can vary greatly depending on the chosen vacation spot. In the south, it is always warmer and drier thanks to the mountains that hold back the cold air flow, which is why the main resorts are located there.
