Chesterman is a free municipal beach in British Columbia, located in western part of Vancouver, in the village of Tofino.

Beach description
The beach is sandy, the coastline is long and wide and stretches to Frank Island. This is a quiet place popular with Canadians from different cities of the country. Tourist season lasts from July to September, the rest of the time the resort doesn't fit for a beach holiday. It's a great place where you can relax and have fun. The south of the beach is windless – the coastline is protected by rocky mountains and growing dwarf trees. This is used by tourists who want to sunbathe, swim peacefully, athletes who swim in kayaks and kayaks. In this area, the shore is gentle, there aren't many reefs and underwater rocks at the bottom. The water is clean and calm in the south part.
