Wickaninnish beach
Wickaninnish is a popular sandy beach in British Columbia. Easy-accessible and the largest resort in the park, along with others, forms the largest dunes of Vancouver on the west coast.

Beach description
The coastline and bottom are covered with fine white sand mixed with small pebbles. The beginning of the beach is rocky, in some places you can find big snags. Clean wet sand lies near the water on the shore – all the conditions for comfortable relaxation, sunbathing. The water is clean, warm. The peak season is between early summer and September, and for the rest of the time it's cold in the province.
There is a parking lot for cars next to the Wickaninnish beach, and tidy pathways are laid out for easy movement. Plenty of hotels with rooms of different level of comfort, a variety of green areas, lush vegetation. You can have picnics, barbecues in the shade of the trees. The infrastructure is developed, there are toilets, showers, changing cabins. There are small houses nearby, which you can rent. Tourists can get to the resort and nearby settlements by public transport, taxi, booked transfer.
Wickaninnish is a lively resort, which is visited by people with an active lifestyle. A lot of people do water sports here: windsurfing, surfing, swimming, kids built sand castles. In winter, it's always stormy, high waves rising and it's very cold.
