Schooner Cove beach

Schooner Cove is a small and wild beach in British Columbia on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

Beach description

The shore and bottom are sandy, there are cliffs, rocky areas – you won't be able to swim. Not far from the coastline, there is an airport due to which there're not many tourists here.

Often there are high, strong waves and gusty winds. Tourists come in the summer. It's easier to get to the resort by car or by public transport passing by. There's no infrastructure, the coastline is clean, wide, long. Plenty of space for active games: beach volleyball, football, frisbee game. All the necessary things, including food, umbrellas, sun loungers and drinks people take with them. Tourists rent accommodation in Tofino, with a view of the skyscrapers – hotels, apartments, shops, supermarkets.

The beach is surrounded by a high pine forest, thanks to which the air on the coast is clean, fresh and oxygenated. Those who want to enjoy the unity with nature, listen to the sound of the ocean and relax, come here to relax. From the coast of Schooner Cove, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the unspoilt nature and the bustling ocean.
