Spanish Banks beach
Spanish Banks is a municipal beach in British Columbia, Ontario. It's conditionally divided into central, western and eastern parts. At low tide, the shore becomes larger by 1 km.

Beach description
Next to the Spanish Banks there's a park, where tourists have picnics and a barbecue. It has all the conditions for a comfortable stay, equipped with tables. The resort is located near the city – there're a lot of local holidaymakers and tourists from all over Canada. There're many cafes, restaurants with delicious food and beverages on the coast, and a there's also a swimming pool available for free. Lifeguards work every day. The weather's windy and cool in the morning. The season lasts all summer, and there are no beach goers at other times of the year. It's overcrowded from June to August.
The coastline is long, wide, covered with white sand and borders on other local beaches. The resort is suitable for large families, children and young people will like it. Plenty of space for volleyball games – there are special playgrounds. On the water, people do kiting, skimboarding. The beach offers breathtaking views of the numerous hills, lush vegetation and the sea. Thanks to the tall trees, there's a shadow. The air is fresh, oxygenated and tastes like sea salt. At a distance of 2 km from the shore you will find hotels, apartments, hostels, guesthouses with rooms of different levels of comfort.
