Please note: there are no shops, bars and other infrastructure in Cathedral Bay. Nearest place where you can buy food is 3 km South-East of the beach (Hahei village). Also on the territory of the Cathedral Bay is forbidden to fish, build fires, litter. Violators of the order are waiting for a large fine.

Cathedral Bay is popular with surfers, naturalists, families with children, solo tourists and other people who appreciate the beauty of nature. There are many tourists on weekends. On weekdays, the beach remains half empty. This place can be reached by taxi, private transport or bus going to Hahei.

When is the best time to go?
