New Chums beach
New Chums is one of the most virgin beach in New Zealand. There are no signs of any civilization on beach. Only tropical forest, rocky cliffs, bright blue and very warm ocean.

New Chums beach attracts tourists with the following advantages:
- immaculateness along the entire beach line;
- virgin nature with rich flora and fauna;
- lush trees growing to 5-10 meters from the water;
- thin population - there is always free space here;
- silence - on the beach you can hear only singing of birds and sound of waves;
- smooth set of depth, conducive to rest with children;
- almost complete absence of strong wind and large waves thanks to the local bay;
- clean air with aromas of tropical forests.
New Chums is perfect place for hiking, sunbathing and tanning. You can hide from strangers, sunbathe naked, be alone with nature. There are many beautiful thickets and glades for picnics in the surroundings of the beach. Little further is the picturesque village (Whangapoua) with the following infrastructure:
- grocery stores;
- hostels;
- camping camp;
- parking lot.
This beach can be reached by private transport or taxi. Remember - there are no shops, catering establishments and beach inspectors on the beach. Do not swim far from the shore and take with you a supply of food, water.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to travel to New Zealand is December-January, the local summer. Despite the warming, the temperature rarely exceeds 30 degrees, so relaxing on the beach here is very comfortable.
