Beach description

Alapuzha is a wide sandy beach with an old pier. The descent into the sea is pretty steep, the bottom is sandy. The beach is unsuitable for swimming due to dangerous currents and high waves, but there are always lovers of extreme swimming. It is possible to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach is always underpopulated, especially on weekdays. It is uncomfortable with children, since it is dangerous to let them go swimming alone. On the beach you can meet many local children, molesting foreigners and asking for money. Part of the beach is reserved for fishing boats. At the pier you can rent a boat or a houseboat (houseboat) for traveling through the lagoons and lakes of Indian Venice.
