Muzhappilangad beach
Muzhappilangad – a beach in the village of the same name on the northern coast of Kerala. 5.5 km long beach is one of the six best beaches in the world in the "drive-in" category – beaches that are allowed to drive by car. From the highway to the beach there is a long winding road between palm groves. According to local laws, a car can drive along the beach for 4 km.

Beach description
The coastline is covered with golden sand. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the bottom is sandy. The sea is calm. On the shore, it is usually not crowded, but during international festivals, when rallies in the sand on cars and motorcycles are arranged, many visitors from different parts of India and the world gather.
Husbandman is suitable for a relaxing holiday with friends or family. You can park the car in a secluded place on the beach and pitch a tent or spend the night in a car. It is worth taking food and drinks, equipment for scuba diving or snorkeling. This is a great place to relax with children. The beach infrastructure is constantly evolving. Large colonies of dozens of species of endemic and migratory birds live on Muzhappilangad. Feathered can be seen in the sand, shallow water, coastal cliffs and palm groves. In the morning, the beach is announced with a vociferous singing.
When is it better to go
The best time to spend holidays on the beaches of India – is from November to March.
