Ao Nammao beach
Ao Nammao beach is located in a small bay with the same name between Krabi-Town and Railay Peninsula. You can get to the beach by road or by boat.

Beach description
The beach is half wild and neglected. The sand is mixed with shells, junk and rocks. Entry is flat, but there is a lot of rocks and garbage on the bottom. The beach is not suitable for swimming. There is a pier at the far end. Along the highway there are several budget hotels, guest houses, cafes and eateries.
Ao Nammao is deserted. There are budget holidays adherents and privacy lovers. The place is not suitable for children. Not far from Ao Nammao there is the shell cemetery, which is a part of Fossil-Shell national park.
When is it better to go
The beaches of the province of Krabi are located in the southernmost region of the country, in a tropical climate zone. The best time for a journey is from November to April. This period is characterized by a stable temperature of air and water – about + 30 °C, smooth sea, lack of precipitation and harsh winds.
