Centara beach
Centara is a hotel Centara Grand Beach Resort beach, also known as Pai-Plong (PaiPlong). Centara is reached by a long staircase on the mountainside at Ao Nang beach. It is also possible to come by boat.

Beach description
Access to Centara is free. At the entrance, the guard records the incoming and notes on the exit. Payment is not provided. The clean, well-kept ground is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers for hotel guests. Vacationers from the outside are arranged on towels under the trees or their own umbrellas. The length of the beach is about 200 meters, the width-no more than 10. The beach is covered with an even layer of large light sand, sometimes mixed with small stones and shells. The descent is smooth. The bottom is sandy. The sea is calm, without waves. The water is clear, but rather muddy. Hotel buildings come close to the beach line. Hotel employees carefully protect the infrastructure from unauthorized visitors, so using shower or toilet is not possible. You can visit the hotel bar, but the prices for outsiders are inflated to the limit.
Centara Beach has earned a reputation as one of the most beautiful and comfortable beaches in Krabi, but it is not very crowded. It is suitable for a quiet family vacation with children. Outdoor enthusiasts have the opportunity to dive with a snorkeling mask at the cliff.
When is it better to go
The beaches of the province of Krabi are located in the southernmost region of the country, in a tropical climate zone. The best time for a journey is from November to April. This period is characterized by a stable temperature of air and water – about + 30 °C, smooth sea, lack of precipitation and harsh winds.
