Beach description
Delicate cream-colored sand and crystal clear sea are Bamboo Island business cards. The beach is a very wide stretch of coast, surrounded by coniferous grove. Under the trees there is a lot of natural shade. The beach goes very smoothly into the seabed, the depth increases gradually. The beach of the island is a very popular and quite crowded place, but aside from the central section of the beach it is easy to find completely empty sections.
Bamboo Island beach is very well equipped for relaxation, you can spend all day comfortably here. There is a cafe on the beach where you can buy drinks and prepared meals. There are kiosks where you can rent a beach mat and life jacket. There are no hotels on the island.
When is the best time to go
The beaches of the province of Krabi are located in the southernmost region of the country, in a tropical climate zone. The best time for a journey is from November to April. This period is characterized by a stable temperature of air and water – about + 30 °C, smooth sea, lack of precipitation and harsh winds.
