Klong Muang beach

The narrow coastline with a length of about 4 kilometers is covered with clean light sand. Long green line of luxurious tropical thickets is stretching along the beach. The descent is long and flat. The bottom is sandy. Deep in several tens of meters from coast. Placers and piles of stones can be seen only within low tide, when fairly wide strip of the bottom opens. You can walk on the beach and in the water barefoot.

It is especially good to have vacation with children on Klong Muang. There is quiet and peaceful, no bars and other sources of loud sounds. Near the beach there are several hotels of different comfort levels, including five-star giants with a huge territory, swimming pools, restaurants, SPAS. There is no infrastructure, as well as on most beaches of Krabi, except of two or three national style cafes. Hotel beach areas are equipped with all attributes of beach infrastructure.

There is deserted on Klong Muang. In the northern part of the beach there are few tourists sometimes, but in the south there is no one. In the central part of the sea near the shore stands small island.

You can get to Klong Muang from Ao Nang by taxi, tuk-tuk or rented car. There is a bike rental, several shops, massage parlors and cafes in the village. There is an ATM.

When is it better to go

The beaches of the province of Krabi are located in the southernmost region of the country, in a tropical climate zone. The best time for a journey is from November to April. This period is characterized by a stable temperature of air and water – about + 30 °C, smooth sea, lack of precipitation and harsh winds.
