Anse Grosse Roche beach
Anse Grosse Roche is a small sand beach on the Atlantic coast located in Marin in southeast Martinique. The beach is considered to be wild: there is no any infrastructure there, but swimming is not prohibited. Those who like nature come here with tents and enjoy privacy and primordial conditions. Beach description
The beach is mainly sandy, but large stones also can be spotted. Due to this, it is unsafe to walk barefoot along the beach, so you should have comfortable and steady shoes. It is windy on the beach, so the sea is usually with foamy waves. Needless to say, it is the reason why this beach is rarely overcrowded. That's why Anse Grosse Roche can be considered the perfect romantic place for loving couples. Though, it should be a nice idea to have picnic with family and friends here.
There are no toilets, shower, catering, or shops at Anse Grosse Roche. That's why, all you need and all that can be useful on the beach, should be taken with you.
When is the best time to go?
It is best to go to Martinique in the dry season from December to May, when the rains do not bother you, and the thermometer does not drop below 22 degrees. However, it should be remembered that in late December - early January, many tourists arrive on the island, which affects prices.
