Salines,according to many, is the best beach in the southeast of the island. The area is rather long. Motorists can drive about 1/3 of its depth. The beach is conditionally divided into three sections, with the central part near the Big Salt Bay and two other less-known sections to the east and west. This small forest plantation at the same time protects the piece and quiet of the beach people from the roadway behind it. The walls of the hotels do not hang over a secluded natural area.
The water is turquoise and completely clear, its purity is not spoilt even the occasional rains. Algae accumulations are visible in some places.
