Anse Noire beach
Pelicans, black sand and big palm trees... Anse Noir is really exotic beach in the truest sense of the word! There is a decrepit hut on the beach, where it is possible to rent a canoe and to go on a voyage along the beach. Also, many vacationers are attached to fascinating snorkeling: like everything else, underwater living creatures and vegetation are very exotic here as well.

Beach description
The beach territory is not large, that's why it's better to come here earlier in order to have enough time to take an advantageous place. Especially this adviced should be used on weekend when there are quite a lot of visitors who would like to see a local curiosity (several other white sand beaches in Martinique). They are not even intimidated with the 136-step stone staircase which everyone who wants to have a rest in this paradise will have to overcome.
Ponton divides the beach into two parts one of which is sandy and the second one is with large pebbles, the entrance to the sea there is petrous and awkward. Those who can't float quite well will not enjoy swimming here. In order to immediately find themselves in the depth without overcoming the uneven sea bottom, a lot of visitors jump into water from the last point of the ponton. The water here is crystal clear and most often calm, but if there is a storm, jellyfish and seaweed can be met. The latter ones can be met both in water and on the beach. Another local "attraction" is turtles, with which, with any luck, you can even swim.
When is the best time to go?
It is best to go to Martinique in the dry season from December to May, when the rains do not bother you, and the thermometer does not drop below 22 degrees. However, it should be remembered that in late December - early January, many tourists arrive on the island, which affects prices.
