Chakvi is one of those places located on the Black Sea that attracts with its measured calm life, beautiful scenery and low price. The beach stretches for 6 kilometers and smoothly flows into the beach of Buknari - so there is no shortage of free places here.

The coast is covered with small shingle, turning into sand, which is a great advantage compared to the more famous beaches. The entry into the sea is sloping and shallow, and the water is clean and calm: rest with children here is not only pleasant, but also safe. Rows of pines and eucalyptus trees, the smell of which envelops the coast, create a large green and shady area. For those, who do not want to lie on the rocks, it is possible to rent loungers and umbrellas for a small fee.
In the town, near the beach, there are many small and cheap cafes, as well as a billiard club and a small water park. And on both sides of Chakvi there is a giant botanical garden of Batumi and Peter fortress of the 6th century, which are most conveniently reached by car. In addition to hotels (it is worth noting that the coast near them is much better equipped) and private houses near the sea there is a vast camping site.
When is the best time to go?
In summer, Georgia has very hot weather, which sometimes interferes with enjoying beach vacations and excursions. Therefore, the best time to visit the Black Sea resorts falls on May, June and September.
