Kvariati Beach is a wide - up to 50 m, well-equipped beach area with a length of about 1 km, surrounded by mountains. From the north, it abuts against Gonio beach, and from the south into a rock formation, that separates it from the beach in the village of Sarpi. The coast of beach is always clean. It is covered with large shingle, so it is more convenient to walk here in special shoes, and to sunbathe not on a towel, but on a sunbed. The sea in Kvariati is a deep-water, clear, rich in marine fauna and the remains of sunken ships, which contributed to the development of the popularity of snorkeling and the appearance of the Batumi Diving Center here. In addition to divers, the southern part of the beach will also be liked by everyone, who is looking for a secluded place. It is not very convenient to bathe here, but it is pleasant to relax in silence, admiring the mountains and the sea. The northern part of the beach is more convenient for swimming, as it has a sloping entry. It is often chosen for family recreation.
It is possible to get to the beach in Kvariati in half an hour by regular bus or minibus, going from Batumi to Sarpi, as well as by taxi or car. The highway passes beyond the village.
