Beidaihe beach
Beidaihe has been known for about 150 years for its excellent leisure facilities. There are excellent beaches here, as well as a very large number of various entertainment facilities.

Beach description
Beidaihe has a many kilometers long coastline that is divided into three large sections. Each of them is a nice beach. They are called Western, Central and Eastern (or Eastern Mountain).
All three sections are sandy, with a clean shore and water, wide shallowness, safe gentle entry to the water. They are perfect for family holidays, it's a good place for babies to swim. Beidaihe beaches are popular with the local population and very crowded in season.
When is it better to go
China is located in three climatic zones, thus the timing for a beach vacation depends on the sections of the country to which you are bound for. The most successful time for a trip to China is conventionally accepted to be late spring and autumn.

Infrastructure
All three beaches of the area are located in a popular resort with a long history, so they are equipped with everything you need and surrounded by:
- shops;
- restaurants;
- entertainment attractions.
The Central one is the most comfortable beach. The Wester one is quite competitive, but it's not that crowded. The Eastern Mountain region is a wild part of the coastline, but it is also easy to get to the city objects from there.
Beidaihe has a very developed hotel business, there are a lot of rental housing options here. There are expensive hotels with 4 stars, as well as more democratic guest houses and family apartments.
Attractions
Beidaihe has a lot of great entertainment to offer and an opportunity to get to know interesting cultural and historical sites. The main attraction of the region is the beginning of the Great Wall of China, which is called the "Dragon's Heads" and is a section of the fortification building, which goes into the sea.
It is also home to China's largest zoo, Oceanarium and Aqua Park. The Magic Palace, surrounded by a beautiful park, is an analog of European Disneyland.

How to get there
The beaches are easily accessible by public or private transport from any part of Beidaihe. The nearest village to the resort is Qinhuangdao. The route from Beijing to this part of the coast is 280 km.
