Aregno beach

Aregno Plage is located near the village of the same name on the coast of Balagna, in Upper Corsica. It can be reached by heading north of Calvie. The surrounding settlements are mostly built on picturesque rocky slopes going into the sea. Here you can admire many religious buildings with rich history.

Beach description

The narrow shoreline of the Aregno Plage resembles a bowl and stretches for 2.5 km of cleanest sand between Corbara and Algajola. The beach is a complete set of all facilities that a tourist needs.   • You can fly from Paris and Nice to the nearby airports of Calvi – Sainte-Catherine or Ajaccio, Figari, Bastia, which are connected to nearby villages by an extensive road network. From April to September, ferries and ships run between Corsica, Nice, Marseille, Italian ports. During the season, even high-speed highways are tightly clogged with traffic jams because of cars. Algajola and L'Ile-Rousse are connected by the railroad.
  • The weather is quite favorable, you can travel here all year round, not forgetting about the endless winds, high tides and low tides, insects and intense sun, from which you need to protect yourself during long walks.
