Agios Pavlos beach

Agios Pavlos is a beautiful desert beach covered with fine white pebbles, and, closer to the sea, with soft light yellow sand. The sea in this part of the island is of bright blue color, serene, with sparkling calm waves and endless horizon. The water entry is smooth and shallow-watered. The beach is surrounded with high hills protecting it from strong winds and creating the magnificent natural landscape on the beach.

Agios Pavlos is comfortable for tourists, it was a very well developed beach infrastructure, several cozy restaurants and taverns with local food, starters, and drinks. Moreover, there is a small pier on the beach from which the transfer to the neighboring Nikuria island is carried out every hour. A tour to this land not famous among tourists is a wonderful journey to the world of fascinating views of Aegean Sea, where silence and calmness reign. Many tourists visit this place for excellent diving and snorkeling; the visibility under water is over 10 m, and sea landscapes are fascinating and enchanting.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
